Silent No More Videos

My name is Nicole Peck and I am a victim of the lies of abortion. I was 15, afraid, ashamed and I felt like I had no choice - college and a career would be gone. The abortion caused me emotional, physical and spiritual harm that I was never told could or would result.

My girlfriend decided to abort our child in approximately June of 1979. I believe she chose the abortion partly because of her age (she was 19 and we were unmarried) and also because of my state of mind (I was a practicing alcoholic). When she went to the Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic in St. Paul Minnesota I was scared because I did not know what was going to happen.

"This was the day that chained me to silence, and began a LONG and PAINFUL road of emotional roller-coasters, self-destruction, alcohol use to numb the emotional pain, shame, guilt, and anger just to mention a few of the "side-effects" of my abortion." Paula's testimony at the March for Life 2014.

Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., shares the story of her pregnancy, abortion, depression, and healing at a gathering of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign in Washington, DC.
